Joao Pessoa kicks off its Childrens week celebrations with a festival of music, art, dance, theatre,
cinema, workshops and much more besides. It all takes place at the Estação Cabo Branco, Ciência, Cultura e Artes, in Avenida João Cirillo Silva, Altiplano, Cabo Branco between 6 and 11 of October.
After the inauguration of the planetarium with its new, state of the art equipment, the pace quickens with workshops on painting, Origami, music and computer skills
The films were provided by the Associação Brasileira dos Documentaristas na Paraíba (ABD/PB) and are specifically for children. They include Leonel Pé de Vento (dirigido por Jair Giacomini), O Pato (Andres Lieben), Tem um Dragão no Meu Baú (Rosária), Aquarela (Andres Lieben), Pappera (Paulo Pappera), Seu Dente e Meu Bico (Marão), Juro que Vi: Matinta Pereira (Humberto Avelar), Laurinha (Thomas Larson) and A Casa (Andres Lieben).
Other attractions include presentations from STTrans, several exhibitions featuring paintings and figures, theatre shows and puppet shows.
