A 19-year-old was shot dead in an incedent in Bayeux, this Sunday afternoon (20 Sept). The victim was named as Thiago Joaquim da Silva.

According to police, Thiago was drinking at the home of relatives in the street where he lived at about 5pm of yesterday. According to the group he was drinking with, Thiago left the street and moments later shots were heard. When they went to investegate, Thiago was found lying on the ground, lifeless.

Thiago was hit by four bullets and died instantly. Neighbors said they heard the sound of a motorcycle leaving the area at high speed.
