The super-hero of Marvel Comics, Spider-Man, continues to inspire bandits. This time the police arrested one person in Joao Pessoa, the 14 year old teenager who was committing robberies in the city by climbing up the outside of buildings. The attempted robbery happened on the night of Thursday 17 September.

According to police, the boy climbed a four-storey building located in the Mangabeira VIII and entered one of the apartments in the building, but was surprised by the owner of the property who woke up and scared the intruder, who jumped out the window without considering the consequences that the fall would bring. The boy fell and injured himself.

He was then spotted by police who were patrolling the neighborhood, he was lying on the floor complaining of severe pain, reported one officer. The police took him to the Emergency Hospital in João Pessoa, there was evidence that he had a fractured ankle. The teenager remains hospitalized.
