The governor of the state, José Maranhão, is going to bestow the title of “Capital of Peace” upon Joao Pessoa during an audience with the president of the Peace Movement of Paraiba (Movipaz-PB), Almir Laureano, the secretary of Social Security and Civil Defence, Gustavo gominho and the state deputy, Rodrigo Soares amongst others at the Granja Santana.
The governor of the state is going to support the week of “Peace Culture” which takes place in Joao Pessoa between 2 and 8 of November coinciding with the World March for Peace involving 90 countries starting 2nd October 2009 and finishing 2nd January 2010 in Argentina.
