Consumers approve of the new mobile market bus with its organic products.

In only three hours, between 5.00am and 8.00am, the mobile market bus of the Associação de Produtores Agroecológicos de João Pessoa (Prohort) took nearly R$2000 selling  its organically grown products. The bus, which parks up at the Bust of Tamandaré, in Cabo Branco, at the end of Avenida Epitácio Pessoa was certainly the focus of attention of all the passers-by.

Many buyers thought the products there were actually cheaper than the stores quoting 1kg of feijao for R$5 instead R$6.

The mobile market bus will be parking up in the same place every  Thursday and it is the intention of the group to extend the service to Bessa, Bairro dos Estados, Miramar, Bancários and Mangabeira.

The Association also has markets on Fridays from 5.00am to 9.00am in Praça da Paz, Bancários and from 6.00am to11.00am in the Mercado Público of Valentina.
